#80scoversweek24
– Here’s a bonus video for the week that I couldn’t wait to release! This was such amazing video editing and sound engineering done by Matt Taylor at Echo Lake Studios! @echolakestudios
– Not technically an 80s song, it’s a cover of a cover from 1998. However it was on “The Wedding Singer” movie soundtrack which celebrated everything about 1980s culture and also pokes fun at it.
Equipment: Drum kit is a Gretsch New Classic Euro; Dial tune snare- https://www.dialtunedrums.com/pages/take-your-performance-to-the-next-level-with-dialtune-snare-drums?tw_source=google&tw_adid=693736194184&tw_campaign=21106171570&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMInv3PmJPrhQMViyKtBh1P0QntEAAYAyAAEgK30_D_BwE
Paiste cymbals, (all belong to the studio); ProMark 747N sticks with ProMark stick wrap. The goggles on my head are a nod to the original 1981 video by The Buggles. Just too hot and too difficult to see wearing them on my eyes 👀
– Also shoutout to @MikeFewMusic for making an awesome video of this same song a couple weeks ago!
