Excellent Drum Solo Using Finger Technique

I do a lot of concerts playing with so many great show bands. Most of you know me as the drummer leader of my Ken Loomer Big Band and Jazz Quartet. Here I`m doing a concert with the Brian Gurl(piano) Show Band. During my drum solo feature at this concert, I`m playing on my small classic 1968 Slingerland drums with the 20 inch bass drum, 8×12 tom, 14×14 floor tom, and 5.5×14 artist model Slingerland snare drum. All drums tuned wide open for that full clear natural drum sound. I use a lot of finger control during this solo which I learned from Joe Morello and Louie Bellson. I get to play relaxed and use a lot of dynamic`s in my drum solo. I`m always working on my drum technique to make my solo`s interesting and exciting for the people I play for.
