Advanced – Practice this to work on dynamics, cymbal accents, dotted patterns, and groove!
This is one of my favorite moments in TesseracT’s song King – and it’s taken me many many years, and many many shows to get totally comfortable with. The tricky part is picking up the dotted pattern on the stack after interrupting it with cymbal accents. Slowing the pattern down though and figuring out the movements, and where your limbs need to be – that’s the game!
